A Dryden government worker has received the highest honour from the Economic Developers Association of Canada.
Natasha Lovenuk Markham has now joined more than 250 others in successfully completing the difficult Ec.D certification program.
She was able to complete an extremely stringent certification program that included training, practical experience and both oral and written exams.
Markham is the Regional Advisory for the Government of Ontario with the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade as well as Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
The curriculum is founded in economics, statistical and financial analysis, public and government administration, marketing, commerce and retailing.
She will be able to carry out economic development consulting services to the public and private sectors and help agencies and communities develop sound economic development strategies.
Re-certification takes place every three years.
