The new Economic Development Officer now has a blueprint to follow to
help Dryden move forward.
6-major intiatives are contained in the Economic Diversification
Advisory Committee report.
Chair Nick Beyak says one of the suggestions is building a new
tourist centre.
Beyak says another key recommendation is for the City to aggressively
market itself and convince Corporations to hold major conferences here.
The document also calls for the City to pursue tourism initiatives,
develop the waterfront, determine infrastructure capabilities and attract
training and education opportunities.
