EFTO and the KPDSB reach agreement on a local issues

Elementary teachers with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board are a step closer to having a brand new contract.

ETFO has signed a local bargaining agreement with the KPDSB.

This comes after almost 4 and a half months after the provincial bargaining team reached an agreement with the province on a new deal.

The provincial settlement dealt with some of the main issues like wages and benefits.

Details of the contact won’t be released until both side have had a chance to vote on it.

The four year deal would be retroactive to September of 2022.
