EFTO President Speaks Out About Contract Talks

The president of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario doesn’t expect upcoming contract talks with the province to be easy.
Preliminary talks begin next month.
President Sam Hammond says while the Premier pledged them to be fair, there’s still mistrust among teachers.
Hammond also didn’t rule out the possibility of labour disruptions to back contact demands.
