Elderly Man Identified As Crash Victim

Provincial Police continue to investigate the cause of a fatal two vehicle collision on Highway 11.
OPP say an eastbound Chevy Lumina struck a westbound transport around 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, about 30-kilometres east of Atikokan.
The driver of the car, 76-year-old Fredrick James Munro of Atikokan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 71-year-old woman from Atikokan is in hospital in Thunder Bay with serious injuries.
The driver of the transport, a 49-year-old man from Thunder Bay, wasn’t injured.
