With a federal election widely expected this spring, the major political parties are gearing up for another election campaign.
The Conservatives in the Kenora riding are planning to hold a nomination meeting on May 5th in Kenora, while the NDP will select their candidate two days later.
Meanwhile, a Kenora city councillor has been elected as the new president of the provincial Liberal Riding Association in Kenora-Rainy River.
Rory McMillan took over his new duties earlier this month at the party’s annual general meeting. Kenora M.P. Roger Valley was the past president.
