It was another tight race but Liberal Roger Valley again outlasted
his competition to capture the Kenora Riding.
Valley took advantage of the First Nation support to earn 9,465 votes.
The incumbent MP admits this campaign was a challenge.

Conservative Bill Brown made a great run with 8,429 votes and he
was surprised with his parties numbers across Canada.
n025 runs: 16 sec. out…conservative number.
Susan Barclay of the NDP finished third with 8,109 votes while Dave Vasey
of the Green Party picked up 682.
The candidates have not indicated if they will make another run at
the MP position.
