Elementary Teacher Talks

2 days of contract talks have been set aside for local elementary teachers & the keewatin-patricia district school board.
both sides will meet monday & tuesday to try & hammer out a new deal.
the last contract expired about 3 months ago but talks have been on going since june.
money has been set aside in the board’s budget for negotiations.
secondary teachers are also looking for a new contract, but those talks have yet to get underway.
