Elementary Teachers Ramping Up Job Action

Public elementary school teachers appear ready to take their work-to-rule action to the next level.

The Toronto Star is reporting that beginning Monday, teachers will refuse to plan next year’s field trips or take part in meetings to discuss a students move to a higher grade.

The newspaper cites a confidential bulletin sent to members of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario Monday.

Teachers are currently refusing to administer the province wide tests or make comments in report cards.
