Ontario’s Advocate for Children and Youth is calling for greater powers.
Bill 8 would give Irwin Elman extended powers to investigate Children’s Aid Societies.
But Elman wants the bill to protect all vulnerable children and youth.
He’s also calling for protection to those who work with children’s agencies who make complaints to the provincial advocate.
