Get ready for another test of the national emergency alert system today.
Katie Crowe of Tbaytel explains the test will involve a loud alarm going off on your smartphone at 12:55 central time this afternoon.
“Don’t be shocked that you’re receiving this alert. It is a test of the system. Certainly the content of the message will say this is just a test.”
The alert will also be heard on this radio station as well as your television.
