Emergency Crews Rescue Two People in Crash

Two people escaped serious injury following a single vehicle crash on Highway 17, just east of Dinorwic.
Emergency crews were dispatched early Sunday morning near Brown Bay Road.
Officials say a tractor trailer unit left the road and slid down a 60-foot rocky embankment.
Wabigoon and Dryden Fire Crews worked together to extricate the passenger using the jaws of life.
Firefighters managed to safely transport the patient up the rocky slope to safety.
The driver of the transport managed to escape unharmed.
OPP are investigating the cause.
