There were some anxious moments last night at the Dryden Airport as a small plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
Fire personnel, OPP and emergency resuce crews were called to the airport around 9:00, after a twin-engine Cessna 337 reported problems with its main landing gear.
The pilot managed to bring the aircraft down when it struck the runway amd then skidded onto a grassy area.
Luckily, two people on board escaped with no injuries.
However, the plane suffered extensive damage.
The of the landing gear failure is under investigation.
