Emergency Preparedness Week starts tomorrow and the Northwestern Health Unit recommends updating your emergency kit.
Manager of Infectious Diseases Donna Stanley encourages folks to make a checklist, so that when you have to do something quickly, you can grab it fast and not think about what you might need.
When it comes to preparing a kit, Stanley recommends having a flashlight, radio, batteries, water, non-perishable foods and a change of clothing.
For more information on Emergency Preparedness Week and what is recommended, contact your local health unit.
