The City of Dryden will welcome emergency service providers later this month for the 4th Annual Northwestern Ontario Conference on Disaster Management.
Committee Co-Chair Malcolm Robertson says the gathering is for anyone involved or interested in emergency management or wanting to be better prepared for emergencies and disasters.
Robertson says already 150 delegates are expected to attend.
Speakers involved in high-profile responses such as the fatal Lac Megantic, Quebec derailment and the Elliot Lake mall roof collapse will be attendance.
More information on registration and the conference is available by visiting www.northwestresponseforum.ca
The three day conference begins on April 14th.
The gathering is being hosted by the City, Canadian Red Cross and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
