Emma Farmer

In loving memory of Emma Farmer (Norberg), who passed away at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on November 10, 2010, at the age of 81,

Emma lived life to the fullest – growing up at Meadows, Manitoba in a family of ten siblings, eventually moving to Dryden with husband and her own family where she continued her secretarial career until retirement. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends. Emma was also skilled at many crafts, including knitting and tatting.

Emma was predeceased by husband Bob in 2007, and daughter-in-law Tracy Farmer in 2006. She is survived by sons Wes Farmer of Dryden and Terry (Martha) Farmer of Ann Arbor, MI, as well as granddaughters Jody Farmer and Jaimee (Tom) Stemkoski of Dryden, grandson Clayton Farmer, and great-grandson Kelli Stemkoski. She is also survived by sisters Regina Taylor of Winnipeg, MB, Ruth (Lawrence) Nordstrom of Leaf Rapids, MB; by brothers George (Olive) Norberg of Brandon, MB and Gunnar (Delphie) Norberg of Meadows, MB.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 1:00pm at the Dryden Community Funeral Home. A private interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dryden Regional Health Centre Equipment Fund through the Dryden Community Funeral Home
