There remains an urgency to get the Energy East Pipeline project back on track.
Following a meeting of Canada’s Energy Ministers in New Brunswick, the host minister says the ground work was laid with his provincial colleagues to push the project forward.
Rick Doucet stresses they still need to get Ontario and Quebec on board, noting some hurdles remain standing.
Doucet says he wants to make it a priority to work immediately with the two provinces.
He claims getting the project back on track is essential for the economy of the country, calling it a nation builder.
