Energy for Pikangikum

Pikangikum First Nation may soon have an environmentally sound solution to its power needs.
A Vancouver based company is offering the community a license to use its biomass technology.
That could provide sustainable energy to the town’s Whitefeather Forest Management Initiative, an economic renewal plan based on forestry.
The system promises to provide enough energy for the community and a Sawmill.
