Energy Minister Looking At Northern Energy Needs

Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli is telling NDP Leader Andrea Horwath to hold her horses!
Horwath stood in Question Period Thursday to ask the Liberal Government what they will be doing to help ensure the Thunder Bay power generating station remains open.
The conversation of the plant is seen an essential component to meet the energy demands Northwestern Ontario is currently facing.
Chiarelli responded by saying an announcement on the future of the energy needs of the north will be made in the next couple of weeks.
Chiarelli notes the provincial plan for energy in the Northwest goes beyond the Thunder Bay plant and encompasses communities such as Dryden.
