The Ministry of Natural Resources has found that most anglers are
obeying the law this Summer.
A blitz was carried out on Saturday on Highway 72 near Sioux Lookout and
97% of the people stopped complied with the fishing regulations.
4-charges were issued for possessing fish skinned so that the species
couldn’t be quickly identified and 7-warnings were given for improperly
packaged fish.
OPP charged 1-person with failing to wear a seatbelt and several
warnings were issued for speeding.
