English Nets Three Points In Thistles Win

A great start to the season for the Kenora Senior Thistles and Dryden’s Mike English.
English recorded the “Gordie Howe Hat Trick”, scoring once, adding two assists and getting in a fight as the Thistles skated to a 7-4 victory over the Manitoba Pirates on the weekend.
Coach Brian Olson says the team came together after a sloppy start.
The next game for the senior team is January 25th against the Lac Du Bonnet Blues.
