It’s a busy time for the new junior hockey team in Ear Falls-Red Lake.
The English River Miners will begin play in the Superior International Junior Hockey League this September.
President Jason Vinet says they have a full board of directors consisting of 10-members and a massive season ticket drive is underway.
Vinet adds the team continues to lock up corporate sponsorship and stresses they will be ready to go this September.
He adds the team has started to begin its merchandising campaign.
Kevin Kahoot has been named Head Coach and General Manager.
The Miners will play out of the Ear Falls Arena this season.
