Patients in the area in need of angioplasty may soon find it a lot
easier to get treatment.
The province is investing $9.6-million to provide the procedure at Thunder Bay Regional
Hospital.
The hospital is expected to perform up to 250 of the cardiac procedures
by the end of March 2008.
Eventually, Thunder Bay Regional will be able to treat about
550 patients per year.
