Northwestern Ontario patients in need of treatment for complex heart disease such as heart attacks now have access to brand-new equipment in the cardiac labs at Thunder Bay’s Regional Hospital.
The new technology replaces equipment that was originally installed in 2005.
The two labs will provide 24/7 services for emergency cardiac cases, as well as 80-hours of scheduled cases each week.
