Enrolment figures in the Keewatin-Patricia School District have
exceeded expectations.
Superintendent of Finance Dean Carrie says the Board has 121 more
secondary students than they budgeted for at the start of the school year.
The highest increase is at Beaver Brae, Queen Elizabeth and Dryden
High.
At the elementary level, the Board has 20 more students than
expected, with Lillian Berg and New Prospect seeing increases.
Carrie says he is pleased but notes it could effect future funding from
the Provincial declining enrolment grant.
