Environment Canada says it doesn’t believe Dryden was hit by a micro-burst Saturday afternoon.
Strong winds blew down part of the Old United Rentals building on Highway 17.
Meterologist Etienne Gregorie says he’s seen the pictures and believes it was just straight winds associated with a fast moving thunderstorm.
He says the storm did move about 60-kilometres an hour from the west straight to the east.
There were other reports of some lawn furniture blowing around and some small trees that fell over.
