Environmental Assessment Now Underway

The Federal Government has undertaken an environmental assessment on the proposed Cliffs Natural Resources Ring of Fire Chromite mine in Northern Ontario.
Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency Spokesperson Celine Legault says the first public comment period is now underway.
Legault says the assessment will take at least a full year to complete.
She notes there will be three public comment periods during the study.
