A City woman is trying to raise money and awareness of a rare disease called Epidermolysis Bullosa.
A yard sale will be held Saturday morning starting at 8 o’clock at
Dryden Jewelers.
Joy Ashton says all of the money collected will go towards research.
Ashton’s Grand-daughter was born with the disease and she believes the
case is the first in Northwestern Ontario.
Children born with the disease will experience severe blisters that
need to be broken in order to protect the skin.
