Equipment Problem Fixed, Atikokan Arena Open

A leak in the refrigeration system at the Atikokan Arena has been
fixed and the facility has resumed normal operations.
The Arena was closed last Thursday after staff found a problem with the
ice near the penalty box.
Mayor Dennis Brown says the repair work is a temporary fix, noting
there’s a bigger problem ahead.
Brown says Town officials will take a close look at the refrigeration
unit and flooring when the Arena closes for the season in March.
