Eric Stout Named SIJHL CCM Hockey Rookie Of Year

Dryden GM Ice Dogs forward Eric Stout has been named SIJHL Rookie of the Year.

The product of Brainerd, Minnesota edged out English River Miners forward Michael Di Lullo and Connor Smith of the Thief River Falls Norskies.

Stout leads all first-year players in offensive production with 54-points in 41-games.

He sits 12th in league scoring.

Among his other accomplishments this season was a ten game point streak to start the year, which also featured markers in nine straight.

Stout has also supplied 17 multi-point contests and is presently tied for fifth in the league in goals with 29.

The only other Ice Dog to win the award was Cody Mosbeck in 2003-2004.
