President of the Elementary Teachers Federation, Emily Noble says
substitute teachers deserve respect from their students and parents.
A series of radio ads on the on-going contract negotiations for elementary
occasional teachers are being aired across the province.
Noble says the ads are geared at garnering more attention for their cause.

Noble says all they’re asking for is reasonable daily assignments, access
to permanent jobs, and improved daily wages.
The Keewatin Patricia District School board still hasn’t negotiated a
contract with it’s elementary school occasional teachers.
