ETFO Won’t Resume Extra-Curricular Activities

The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario has decided to continue their political action, which means extra curricular activities won’t be back anytime soon.
The ETFO won’t be asking its members to resume the voluntary activities, such as sports teams and clubs.
The union says it will take “real actions” for the government to regain the confidence of teachers.
On the opposite end, the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation has encouraged its members to resume activities.
However, president of the OSSTF Ken Coran says that decision is completely up to each teacher.
