It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Eva Lucille Tourond (Blueberry), age 70 of Red Lake Road, who passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008. Eva is survived by Wilfred Tourond, her loving husband of 53 years, her 5 children: Lorraine (Bob) McMahon of Dryden, Florence (Roger) Laramee of Red Lake Road, Brian (Linda) Tourond of Dryden, Lucille (Ray) Dickey of Vermilion Bay and Dan (Denise) Tourond of Dryden. Also by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brothers & Sisters: Oscar (Evelyn), Bernedette, Isaie, Rene (Brenda), Denis, Marcien (Suzanne), Roger, Diane (Ghislain) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Mr. Harry Toews officiating. Interment of ashes at a later date.
Eva was predeceased by her infant son, Wilfred Jr. By brothers and sisters: Louis, Clement, Adele, Marie-Louise, sister- in-law Rose, and brother-in-law Ernest. And, by her mother Alice and her father Pierre.
