Forest fires are once again causing concern for a couple of first nations north of Red Lake.
MacDowell Lake is currently under an evacuation alert and residents are encouraged to self-evacuate.
Meanwhile, the Pikangikum First Nation is also under an evacuation notice.
The OPP say they are on the scene to assist.
The Municipality of Red Lake is not impacted, and the MTO says there is again access to Nungesser Road.
That road was closed yesterday due to a forest fire.
