Introduction to Calligraphy with Lucille Ayers
In this two-day workshop, feel the flow of ink and watch it develop into beautiful letters.
Day one – Meet your pen!
Come to understand its pieces and parts, and how the way it is used can change how your ink is placed. Begin getting comfortable with the lower-case letters of the Italic alphabet.
Day two – Getting a little bigger!
Explore capital letters of the Italic alphabet. You will also be introduced to numbers, punctuation, and text construction.

Day 2: Thursday April 30, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
