The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) is hosting another Fireside Chat in Ignace! Led by the Director of Education, Christy Radbourne, the Fireside Chat will take place on February 4th, 2026, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Ignace Public School, and is open to all members of the community. This will be a drop-in event and will not require registration, and there will be a livestream of the event available on Facebook.
Fireside Chats are an opportunity for parents and caregivers to engage in an open discussion/Q&A session with the Director of Education concerning education-related topics. This year, subjects of interest will include parent engagement opportunities across KPDSB schools, math initiatives and math education, and attendance campaigns geared toward student success. Attendees are invited to ask questions and provide comments on any programs, initiatives, or concerns they may have.
This year, a livestream of the Fireside Chat will also be provided on the KPDSB Facebook page. Viewers will have the opportunity to watch the Q&A session live and comment questions for the Director to answer if they cannot make it to Ignace Public School in person.
