DESCRIPTION:LOCATION: DRYDEN GO-GETTERS\n\nMamma Mia!\n\nIt’s Show Time – here is your audition center!   With all Audition information \n\nProduction dates; we have been able to tentatively book The Centre for “move in” day on Sunday April 12th and striking the set on Sunday April 26th.   The week of April 13th will be heavy with tech and dress rehearsals in the evenings followed by performances that weekend\, and the following weekend.  There is a tentative rehearsal calendar that you can check out here.\n\nBe sure to sign up for auditions now\, on both the Audition Slot doc and by completing this form.  Be sure to attend the General Acting Auditions on Tuesday October 28th from 7pm-8:30.   As part of the General Acting Auditions expect to do some dance/choreography. \nThere is a doc with Character Information to help you learn more about the characters. \nFor your vocal audition\, choose a song that you know well and be prepared to sing it\, preference is ‘a cappella’ or a ‘karaoke’ track.   You only need ONE Verse ONE Chorus\, I will cut you off if you go longer. \nA sample singing audition.\nSinging auditions will be done in small groups\, first you will sing scales individually\, this allows us to see your range as well gives us a chance to hear your pitch\, see if you can hear yourself and correct\, and allows us to see how you respond to singing with a musician.\nAfter a group does their scales we will move onto your prepared piece. This should be preferably memorized\, put effort into it and sell yourself. This does not need to be from the show\, but could be. Preference is to keep it short to respect everyone’s time\, one verse and one chorus is usually enough. If you make a mistake\, that is fine\, own it and go with it. DESCRIPTION:Rachelle Brown\, principal French horn for the Dryden High School Concert band\, has been the first ever Dryden student accepted into the Ontario Provincial Honour Band\, taking place in Toronto this November. \nTo help fund her trip\, Rachelle will be holding a Music Recital on October 27\, 2025 @ 7pm at St. Luke’s Anglican Church – 50 Van Horne Ave\, Dryden. Everyone is welcome! DESCRIPTION:LOCATION: DRYDEN GO-GETTERS\n\nMamma Mia!\n\nIt’s Show Time – here is your audition center!   With all Audition information \n\nProduction dates; we have been able to tentatively book The Centre for “move in” day on Sunday April 12th and striking the set on Sunday April 26th.   The week of April 13th will be heavy with tech and dress rehearsals in the evenings followed by performances that weekend\, and the following weekend.  There is a tentative rehearsal calendar that you can check out here.\n\nBe sure to sign up for auditions now\, on both the Audition Slot doc and by completing this form.  Be sure to attend the General Acting Auditions on Tuesday October 28th from 7pm-8:30.   As part of the General Acting Auditions expect to do some dance/choreography. \nThere is a doc with Character Information to help you learn more about the characters. \nFor your vocal audition\, choose a song that you know well and be prepared to sing it\, preference is ‘a cappella’ or a ‘karaoke’ track.   You only need ONE Verse ONE Chorus\, I will cut you off if you go longer. \nA sample singing audition.\nSinging auditions will be done in small groups\, first you will sing scales individually\, this allows us to see your range as well gives us a chance to hear your pitch\, see if you can hear yourself and correct\, and allows us to see how you respond to singing with a musician.\nAfter a group does their scales we will move onto your prepared piece. This should be preferably memorized\, put effort into it and sell yourself. This does not need to be from the show\, but could be. Preference is to keep it short to respect everyone’s time\, one verse and one chorus is usually enough. If you make a mistake\, that is fine\, own it and go with it. If adding some choreography – keep it simple\, as the focus is on voice.\nIf bringing music\, please have it cued and ready to go\, we do not want to wait for you to find it and bring it up.
