Evolution Mining Starts Surface Ice Drilling

The public is urged to use caution in the south part of East Bay in the Red Lake area.

Evolution Mining is preparing to launch a surface ice drilling program.

There is signage and pickets along the ice road, indicating drilling activity in the area.

Additional caution signage is also posted on the south access of East Bay on the main ski-doo route, and there are snow fences around the drill pad locations.

The operation is expected to begin in February and run until mid-March.
