The City of Dryden says water and sewer rates will likely go up in 2014 under the new restructuring and deficit recovery plan.
A 6% increase was presented to Council last year but was turned down and Chief Administrative Officer Andre Larabie says this year they will look at that rate.
The city legally can’t run a deficit in water and sewer.
Treasurer Adrienne Bodnarchuk says they are currently looking at a $245,000 shortfall in water and sewer revenue.
