Expect Weather Records The Next Three Days

Air conditioners will be working overtime the next three days as a massive pool of very warm humid air consumes the region.

Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says it will feel like 36 or 37 with the humidity.

Laidlaw adds there won’t be a lot of cloud cover so that means no relief and no rain.

He is promising that records will fall Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Laidlaw says the Friday high in Dryden is 30.6 degrees set in 1971, while the Saturday record is 31.8 degrees reached in 1988.

The Sunday record is 32 degrees in 1991.

Laidlaw says a cold front will slide through the area on Monday and we should see some relief that evening.

He isn’t anticipating any rain but notes we could experience some thunderstorms.
