Experts Examine Human Remains

The Regional Coroner says bones discovered on Scotty Island on Lake of the Woods last week were extremely old and likely aboriginal in origin.
The remains were found on a beach June 30th.
The bones were electronically examined by a Forensic Anthropologist and were determined to be ancient.
Dr. David Legge says the usual protocol is to return the remains to the local First Nation.
