Extra Work Near Construction Site

The City of Dryden has received some unexpected good news related to
the construction of the Wabigoon Drive Sewage Lift Station.
A change in plans has the contractor now conducting vertical
drilling which means the City will be able to replace a water main that has been in place since the 1960’s.
Director of Engineering and Public Works Mike Fenton says the
positive news doesn’t stop there.
The move will also allow the City to replace curbs and gutters as well
as repave roads in the area.
The upgrades will be conducted over the Summer, while construction of
the Lift Station should be complete by the end of the year.
