Extreme Cold Weather Advisory Issued

Northwestern Ontario remains under an extreme cold warning.

It was issued yesterday as a mass of Arctic air encompassed much of northwestern Ontario.

We can expect wind chill values near minus 30 and minus 40 C for today and possibly the rest of the week.

The cold is also causing local roads to be very slick, especially at intersections.

Be sure to adjust your speed and give plenty of distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
