Provincial Police are emphasizing seatbelt safety this week.
The fall seatbelt campaign is underway and provincial police says they’ve seen too many fatalities this year as a result of people not buckling up.
So far in 2015, there have been 42 fatalities on OPP patrolled highways as a result of people not wearing their seatbelt.
That’s up from 34 for the same period last year.
The seatbelt campaign will be carried out over the next three weeks.
