Family Physicians Plan

An expansion of family health teams across the province is being seen a way of reducing the strain on Ontario’s emergency departments.
The Ontario College of Family Physicians has come out with a plan that puts more emphasis on family medicine and the primary care sector.
Doctor Robert Algie says Dryden is proof that family health teams are effective.
Algie says the Province needs to work towards making family health teams more widely available.
