Farm Fire Redirects Cattle To Thunder Bay

A fire completely destroyed a cattle farm in Stratton, four hours west of Thunder Bay.

The farm was decimated during the blaze over the weekend, however, all the dairy cattle were saved.

There was a local auction happening and the empty trailers were used to collect the cattle that needed to be milked as soon as possible

The cows were brought to Thunder Bay where a few local dairy farms were able to take the close to 60 cows to be milked.
