The drivers of two tractor trailor units are dead following an horrific accident between Vermillion Bay and Kenora.
The collision took place shortly after 5:00 yesterday morning and closed the Trans-Canada Highway for more than
12 hours.
Police say the accident took place in Docker Township. about eight kilometers west of Vermillion Bay.
Both vehicles were destroyed by the collision and subsequent fire. The O.P.P. say neither driver survived the crash, but so far their identities have not been released.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
