Provincial Police say one person is dead following a fiery crash on Highway 17 between Terrace Bay and Marathon.
According to police the collision was between a tractor trailer and a van with B.C. licence plates and happened just before 7 o’clock Tuesday morning.
They say the passenger in the van died after the vehicle burst into flames.
The driver was taken to Thunder Bay Hospital to be treated for major injuries.
No names have been released.
