OPP are still investigating a horrific crash on Highway 17, east of
Dryden Saturday morning.
2-people died when an eastbound SUV crossed into the westbound lane
and struck an oncoming transport near Borups Corner.
Police say both vehicles caught on fire instantly and were destroyed by
the flames.
The driver and the passenger of the SUV died on impact, while the
driver of the transport suffered minor injuries.
The names of the deceased have not been released.
Fire crews spent more than 5-hours extinguishing the blaze, while the
Trans-Canada was closed for 8-hours to clean up the wreckage.
