Fatal Collison Borups Corner

A fatal collision has claimed the lives of two people.
That was the result yesterday, after an eastbound SUV crossed into the Westbound lane and collied with a west bound Tractor Trailer near Borups Corners.
the driver of teh tractor trailer escaped with minor injuries, but the driver and passenger of the SUV died on impact.
Names have not been released awaiting notification of next of kin.
Highway 17 near Borups Corners is now open again after being closed for over 8 hours because of the accident.
